Troubleshooting
A Helm release's only revision is stuck in pending-install. Which recovery works?

Show answer and explanation
Answer: helm uninstall it, then install it again
Explanation
There is no earlier revision to roll back to, and helm upgrade --install still refuses because the latest revision is pending. helm install --replace only reuses a name whose last revision is failed or uninstalled. Uninstalling removes what the first attempt created, after which a normal install works.
